Welcome to the Tennis portal

Punters have long been able to bet on the Grand Slams, but only since the 1990s have bookmakers offered outright and match betting on weekly tennis tournaments. Like golf, the ATP calendar, which usually features two or three events each week, runs from January through to November.

Even though the top players win a high percentage of tournaments they enter, tennis is essentially more competitive than it has ever been with the standard improving and the players much fitter.

This has led to layers issuing a wider variety of markets to bet on, especially in bigger matches. Supremacy and total games are always popular punting themes, while first service break and fastest-serve handicaps have captured the imagination of backers in recent years.

Watch your bets
