The IBAS office remains temporarily closed for the safety and wellbeing of our staff. Working from home has created no delays to the dispute process, but it has presented some difficulties in receiving and processing letters and telephone calls.
We are finding that while we are able to progress new and existing disputes, it is taking us a little longer to acknowledge new disputes or the receipt of new evidence. Additionally, we may not be able to update you as frequently as we would like.
You can help us manage our workload by not telephoning our office, except where there is an urgent need to have a dispute addressed. We are receiving letters but these are being redirected and we have found that some have taken significantly longer than usual to reach us.
