Please note that following a serious fault on our local phone network yesterday (15th July) it is possible that telephone contact with IBAS will not be restored next week 19th-23rd July either. We will restore our telephone service as soon as we can. In the meantime, we continue to urge people to contact us by email wherever possible. Our email address is email@example.com We aim to respond to all emails to that address on the same day that they are received.
The IBAS office remains partially-closed as required by the current National Covid-19 response. Working from home has created no substantial delays to the dispute process, but it has presented some delays in receiving and processing letters and some difficulties in taking telephone calls. We are making increasingly frequent visits to our office to collect, scan and forward post, but it is still faster if you submit claims by registering and completing a claim form on our website.
We are finding that while we are able to progress new and existing disputes, it is taking us a little longer to acknowledge new disputes or the receipt of new evidence. Additionally, we may not be able to update you as frequently as we would like.
You can help us manage our workload by not telephoning our office, except where there is an urgent need to have a dispute addressed. Please contact us by email wherever possible, using: firstname.lastname@example.org
Like many of you our team are working in less than ideal circumstances, in some cases managing usual family situations alongside their work and in other cases, trying to work from homes that don't offer a great deal of peace and quiet. Please take that into account and be considerate when contacting us. Thank you for your ongoing patience and understanding.
